Worked with 7 colors. Each round has a different color.

Round 1 Color A

Chain 3 (counts as 1 dc), 2 dc, 3 ch into a magic ring. 3 dc, 3 ch, repeat 2 times. Fasten off and close the round invisibly in the 1st real dc.

Round 2 Color B

Join yarn in any ch-3 space and start with a standing sc.

1 sc in the ch-3 space, ch 1, skip 1 dc, work a 3 dc cluster = Cl, + 2 ch + a Cl + 2 ch + a Cl into the next dc, skip 1 dc, * ch 1, 1 sc in the ch-3 space, ch 1, skip 1 dc, a Cl + 2 ch + a Cl + 2 ch + a Cl into the next dc, skip 1 dc,* repeat 2 times, ch 1.

Fasten off and close the round invisibly in the 1st ch after the 1st sc.

Round 3 Color C

Join yarn in any ch-3 space before a sc and start with a standing sc.

3 hdc in the ch-3 space, 3 ch, skip 1 sc, 3 hdc in the next ch-3 space, 3 ch, skip 1 sc, 3 hdc in the next 1 ch-space, 2 ch, skip the next 3-dc cluster, 1 sc into the next 3-dc cluster, 2 ch, skip the next 3-dc cluster, repeat 3 times, slip stitch into the 1st hdc.

Join yarn in the middle hdc of any first 3-hdc group, starting with a standing sc.
