Dahlia Blossom
Two colors are used for this blossom.
Begin with a ring made of 8 chains (ch) and 1 slip stitch (sl st) using Color A.
Round 1
Using Color A, crochet 3 chains (counts as the 1st double crochet (dc)) and 19 double crochets. Close this round with a slip stitch into the 1st double crochet.
Round 2
Attach Color B to any double crochet and crochet 9 chains for the petal. Skip 1 chain and crochet 1 single crochet (sc) and 7 double crochets back, then crochet 1 single crochet into the next double crochet of the previous round. Repeat this pattern 19 times.
Replace the last single crochet with a slip stitch. Cut and weave in the ends.
