Crochet Pattern

Round 1 (Color: Beige)

Ch 2, work 16 dc into a magic ring, sl st into the first proper dc to close the round. (16 sts)

Round 2

Ch 2 (counts as first dc), 2 dc in the same st as the starting ch, then increase in each st around. Sl st into the first proper dc to close the round. (32 sts)

Round 3

Ch 2 (counts as first dc), 1 dc in the same st as the starting ch, increase in the next st, then increase every second st around. (48 sts)

Round 4 (Color: Green)

Join new yarn in any stitch. Ch 1, sc + ch 4 (counts as 1 dc + ch 2), 1 dc in the same st.
Skip 2 sts, then (1 dc + ch 2 + 1 dc), skip 2 sts repeat 3 more times. Sl st into the fourth ch of the starting ch 4. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Round 5 (Color: White)

Join new yarn in any ch-2 space.
Ch 1, sc + ch 2 (counts as first dc), 4 dc into the same ch-2 space.

… Remove the hook from the loop and insert it into the first dc (which is the second initial ch). Pick up the dropped loop from behind and pull it through to form a petal. Now, ch 3 and insert your hook into the hole in the middle of the petal to make 1 sc.

Repeat twice: Ch 3, 1 sc in the middle of the petal, then ch 2 + 1 sc between the two "V" shapes, ch 2.

Work 5 dc in the next ch-2 space and repeat the previous process until the end of the round. End with ch 2 and sl st into the first ch 2. Fasten off and weave in ends
