Fast jedes Amigurumi beginnt mit einem Maschenring. Warum? Weil er eine geschlossene, runde Basis schafft und sich perfekt für das Häkeln in Spiralrunden eignet. Es gibt verschiedene Methoden, aber die gängigste ist der magische Ring:

• Lege den Faden über deine Finger und forme eine Schlaufe.

2. Erste Maschen setzen – Die Grundlage für jede Form

In den Maschenring werden eine bestimmte Anzahl an Maschen gearbeitet – meistens feste Maschen, aber je nach Projekt können es auch halbe oder ganze Stäbchen sein. Diese erste Runde legt die Basis für die spätere Form:

• Für kleine Figuren beginnt man oft mit 5-6 festen Maschen.
• Größere Objekte können mit 8 oder 10 Maschen starten.
• Je mehr Anfangsmaschen, desto flacher wird die Form.

3. Die Zunahmen – Die Form wächst

Um die Form aufzubauen, folgt nun die Zunahme-Runde: Dabei wird jede Masche verdoppelt, indem du zwei Maschen in eine Masche häkelst. Das Schema sieht so aus:

• Runde 1: Jede Masche verdoppeln (z. B. aus 6 werden 12 Maschen).
• Runde 2: Jede zweite Masche verdoppeln (z. B. 18 Maschen).
• Runde 3: Jede dritte Masche verdoppeln usw.

Durch dieses Prinzip kannst du bestimmen, ob dein Amigurumi kugelig, oval oder zylindrisch wird.

4. Formen gestalten – So steuerst du das Design

Je nachdem, wie du deine Zunahmen verteilst, kannst du unterschiedliche Formen erschaffen:

Am Ende bleibt nur eine kleine Öffnung, die mit einer Wollnadel vernäht wird.

Ob du eine Katze, einen Hasen oder ein anderes Tier häkeln möchtest – die Details machen den Unterschied! Das Gesicht, die Schnauze, die Ohren und die Position der Sicherheitsaugen bestimmen, welches Tier letztendlich entsteht.

• Schnauze: Eine kleine, runde oder ovale Schnauze kann separat gehäkelt und angenäht werden, um dem Tier einen markanten Ausdruck zu verleihen.
