You want to go out with me, I need a leash.
I love to play and cuddle with you.
Here is the pattern for my favorite dog. I've crocheted him many times. My grandchildren love him.

Body Color White
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in a magic ring. (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, repeat from * around. (18)
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, repeat from * around. (24)
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, repeat from * around. (30)
Rnd 6: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, repeat from * around. (36)
Rnds 7-11: Sc in each sc around. (36)
Rnd 12: *Sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc, repeat from * around. (30)
Rnd 13: *Sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc, repeat from * around. (24)
Stuff the body with fiberfill.
Rnd 14: *Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, repeat from * around. (18)

Finish off the body and securely stuff with fiberfill again.
Legs (Make 2)
Each leg is a different color:
1st Leg: White
2nd Leg: Light Brown
3rd Leg: First 3 rounds in white, then finish with light brown
4th Leg: First 3 rounds in black, then finish with white

Head (White and Light Brown)
Start with White
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in a magic ring. (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, repeat from * around. (18)
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, repeat from * around. (24)
Rnd 5: Sc in each sc around. (24)
Rnd 6: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc, repeat from * around. (30)
Switch to Light Brown
Rnds 7-10: Sc in each sc around. (30)
Rnd 11: *Sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc, repeat from * around. (24)

Attach safety eyes between rounds 16 and 17 with 2-3 stitches apart. Alternatively, embroider with black yarn.
Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill.
Rnd 18: Sc2tog around. (6)
Finish off the head. Close the hole at the top with the remaining yarn.
Ears (Make 2)
Each ear has a different color. You can choose between three colors: white, black, and light brown.
Rnd 1: With White, crochet 6 sc in a magic ring. (6)
Rnd 2: *2 sc in each sc around. (9)
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, repeat from * around. (12)
Switch the color
Rnds 4-5: Sc in each sc around. (12)
Rnd 6: *Sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc, repeat from * around. (9)
Rnds 7-11: Sc in each sc around.
Finish off the ear. Do not stuff.
The 2nd ear can be made in a single color or again with two colors.
Tail (Black and White)
Start with Black
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in a magic ring. (6)
Rnds 2-4: Sc in each sc around. (6)
Switch to White
Rnd 5: *2 sc in first sc, sc in next 5 sc. (7)
Rnd 6: Sc in each sc around. (7)
Rnd 7: *2 sc in first sc, sc in next 6 sc. (8)
Rnd 8: Sc in each sc around. (8)
Finish off the tail. Do not stuff.
Spot (Large) Black or Brown
Spot is optional.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in a magic ring. (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Finish off the spot.
Spot (Small) Black or Brown
Spot is optional.
Work 6 sc in a magic ring.
Assemble
Stuff the legs firmly with fiberfill and sew them under the body. Make sure the dog can stand straight.
Sew the tail to the back of the body.
If you have crocheted spots, sew the large spot on the back of the body first. Now sew the small spot partially over the large spot.
Sew the ears on the sides of the head above the eyes.
Now sew the head to the body in front (neck).
Use black yarn to embroider the nose and mouth of the dog.
